Postpartum Support

As a Postpartum Doula, I offer non-judgmental support for new parents, by gently guiding and aiding you however you need during this time of transition. Postpartum care is always tailored to your specific needs as each family is different. Services can include basics in newborn care, techniques for soothing a cranky or tired newborn, breastfeeding support and education, baby-wearing lessons, and caring for your baby while you shower, eat, enjoy time with your other children or partner, or nap. Household help such as light cleaning or laundry, healthy meal preparation, assistance with errands, attending doctors appointments or other scheduled events, sibling care, and resources and referrals are also
always available.

I also do overnight care for families that need to catch up on sleep or simply want a helping hand throughout the night.

Fees and Details for Daytime PP Doula work:

• $50.00 per hour
• A minimum booking of 16 hours
• Three-hour minimum per visit. Typically I work three to five hours per visit.  
• Additional 16 hour package may be purchased
• At the time of signing a contract (at least 4 weeks before your due date) a $400 nonrefundable deposit is due. The remaining balance is due at the
  start of the first session.

Fees and Details for Overnight PP Doula work:

• $300 a night
• Overnights start at 9pm and end at 7am the next day
• A comfortable couch, bed or blow up mattress, sheets, pillow and blanket must be provided by the family
• At the time of signing a contract (at least 4 weeks before your due date) a $200 nonrefundable deposit is due. The remaining balance is due at the start of the first session.
